The Natwest Fiasco
Well, where do I start? I think that it would be fair to say that I have never been busier than I have in the last three weeks. The appalling and prejudiced file on me by Coutts & Co, the dishonest briefing of a BBC journalist by Dame Alison Rose CEO of NatWest and a full apology from the BBC. Plus the resignations of the CEOs of NatWest and Coutts!
The outpouring of support from both the Brexiteers and remainers has been extraordinary. This is a truly non-partisan issue about free speech, democracy and politicisation of our banks. I am far from done. Thousands if not tens of thousands have been treated appallingly by the very banks that taxpayers had to bail out a few years ago.
I now want to be the voice of the victims and to fight for a change of culture within the banks and legislative change from government.
