Hi hi hi, friend! I’m Penny Swalwell — Eric’s best girl and his Canine-in-Chief.

You know what they say: Dogs and babies are the best judges of character. And even though I may not be allowed on the House floor (yet), I can still sniff out B.S. from across the country.

Unlike a lot of the all-bark-no-bite leaders he goes paw-to-paw with in Washington, Eric’s the real deal. He doesn’t roll over for anyone in the face of a tough fight. And when he says he’ll do something — like promising me a walk after a long day — I know he’ll follow through.

But now that the dog days are officially here, Eric’s fundraising has slowed down. He knows that fundraising in the summer is no walk in the park, but he said we really need to pick up the pace if we’re going to keep those barking mad MAGA people out of Congress.
