John,
While in Congress, Cori has advocated for marginalized and oppressed people in the U.S. and abroad. She has championed Palestinian rights, including by leading her colleagues to push the U.S. State Department to stop Israel’s forced displacement of hundreds of Palestinian children.
Last year, the right-wing group AIPAC and its network of PACs poured millions of dollars into defeating progressive women of color running for Congress who dared to challenge the unjust status quo and shine a light on the Israeli government’s human rights abuses.
We know that they’re setting their sights on Cori as we gear up for 2024’s re-election. And progressive Black women candidates have a much harder time raising money to run election campaigns, so we especially need your support to withstand right-wing attacks.
Will you donate $5 or more today to support Cori Bush as she’s targeted for her support of Palestinians’ rights, self-determination, and dignity?

Thank you so much. Please feel free to read more from yesterday’s email about Cori’s radical love for all humanity, and how she came to understand the connections between Black and Palestinian struggles against state violence.

John,
Cori Bush doesn’t want anyone else to have to go through what she’s gone through. That’s what fuels her activism and her policymaking, and it’s why she speaks up for people who have felt voiceless.
She’s been assaulted by the police. She’s been evicted and forced out onto the streets to live in a car with her two children.
As Cori has said, she wouldn’t wish these traumas on anybody. That’s why she camped out on the steps of Congress day and night and succeeded in delaying evictions for millions of Americans. And it’s why for years, Cori has spoken out against the Israeli government for stealing and destroying Palestinians’ homes while brutalizing and killing Palestinian families.
Cori cares about people, governing from a place of radical love for all humanity. That threatens right-wing groups like AIPAC, which want to maintain the status quo.
AIPAC and its affiliated groups have spent millions to defeat progressive women of color, including Cori—even though women of color running for federal office often have much less cash on hand than other candidates.[1] We don’t take money from corporate PACs, instead relying on grassroots donations from people like you in order to keep Cori in Congress fighting for all of us.
As we gear up for our 2024 re-election campaign, can you donate now to support Cori as she takes courageous stands for equity and human rights in the U.S. and Palestine?

As the first member of the movement for Black Lives to be elected to Congress, Cori is unafraid to stand for the people.
She first saw the connections between Black and Palestinian struggles against state violence in 2014, when she met with a Palestinian delegation who visited Ferguson Uprising activists to share tips on how to defend themselves from militarized violence and tear gas.
During the protests, Palestinians in St. Louis also showed up in support of Black lives, and conversations about their oppression opened her eyes as together they fought for collective liberation.
While in Congress, Cori has advocated for marginalized and oppressed people in the U.S. and abroad.
She has championed Palestinian rights, including by leading her colleagues to push the U.S. State Department to stop Israel’s forced displacement of hundreds of Palestinian children. In the past month, Cori made the principled decision to boycott congressional speeches from Israel’s President and India’s Prime Minister for perpetuating human rights abuses.
Cori continues to be one of the few members of Congress to legislate with love for all humanity, without exceptions. That’s why she challenges the status quo, and it’s why the right-wing continues to target her.
Please chip in $5 or more today to have Cori’s back as she’s targeted for speaking the truth about oppression, including calling out the Israeli government’s apartheid against Palestinians.
