Hi John, Americans breathed a sigh of relief last year when President Biden signed the Safer Communities Act into law. I’m grateful for the work we did to pass the first gun reform law in a generation. This victory has only encouraged me to continue fighting, but I can’t do it without your help. Will you chip in to fund our gun-sense advocacy? Recent FBI data released shows that the enhanced background checks from the Safer Communities Act have already stopped 253 people from purchasing guns that would not have been flagged under the old system. Because of our advocacy, dangerous weapons have been kept away from those who should not own them. We still have a ways to go in ending our gun violence epidemic, but we must make time to celebrate the victories we have achieved so far in our fight. Your support is crucial to the work we do.
