The Marine Corps is the tip of the spear. The Germans called them Teufel Hunden — Devil Dogs — after they fought them in the First World War. They are the heroes of Iwo Jima. The few, the proud.

And because of Tommy Tuberville, they are without a confirmed Commandant for the first time since 1859.

Alongside the next Commandant of the USMC, hundreds of senior Military promotions are being held up — Generals and Admirals.

All because of one Senator.

VoteVets has been fighting Tuberville tooth and nail for months on this. Democrats in the Senate took to the floor this week, calling out Tuberville and his blockade.

But after all of this, not one Republican in the Senate has told Tommy Tuberville to stand down. It’s time to start turning up the heat on the rest of the Senate GOP.
