Hi John,Bob Heck here to let you know that today's my dad's birthday!

I'm the tall one.
Dad's given us very strict birthday instructions: No presents. Lots of family time. Maybe some cake.
You can see my dad absolutely light up when he's with his grandchildren, so no surprise that's how he wants to spend the day.

We all "light up" differently, John.My mom and I will take care of the cake; there's no "maybe" about it. We'll handle getting the family together. And since we're not doing presents (fair enough: I've bought that guy so many ties over the years....), we're asking Dad's closest supporters to sign his birthday card. If you want, you can add a short message, too.

As you know, as much as my dad prioritizes family, his commitment to Washingtonians comes in a close second. If we could invite the whole state to the party, we would, even though we'd need a huge cake.
Instead, please take a minute to add your name to Denny's card, so he can see the strength of this grassroots campaign. That'll make his day.
I hope you have a great day, too, John. We're so glad you're on Team Heck.
Bob
