This team knows better than any that the term “off-year” isn’t in our vocabulary — not when our House majority is controlled by MAGA Republicans who are laser-focused on stripping away our rights and freedoms.
And I’ll admit, as Mikie’s finance director, when important fundraising deadlines approach (like the one we’re facing this Monday), it can be hard for me to take my eyes off my reports and spreadsheets — even on my “off days.”
But team, I know today may be your off day too, so I’ll make this quick and let you get back to enjoying the weekend.
After reviewing our data this morning, it appears we’re pacing slightly behind where we need to be in order to meet our July fundraising goal. It’s no major cause for concern, but I can confidently say that if everyone reading this email pitches in a donation of any amount (yes, really!), we’ll be right where we need to be to hit our target before Monday’s deadline.
