Listen, I won’t sugarcoat it: Republicans are attempting to eliminate vote-by-mail here in Nevada.
I’m going to explain why we can’t overlook this threat, but first, I’m asking you to take a minute to sign my campaign’s petition to save vote-by-mail in Nevada. [[link removed]]

It’s no secret that Republicans across the country are disenfranchising voters – and are carefully targeting minority groups and those who predominantly vote Democratic, like students, low-income voters, and even veterans.
I hoped that these anti-American attacks on voting rights would skip Nevada, but here we are. Nevada is the newest front in the GOP’s war on voting rights.
Republican Governor Joe Lombardo has submitted legislation that would drastically roll back Nevada’s vote-by-mail process. Let me share a few facts and figures to illustrate just how devastating this would be to voters:
A majority of Nevadans (51.1%, to be exact) voted by mail last year.
Compare that to the share of voters who cast an in-person ballot on Election Day: Just 21%.
Despite our accessible vote-by-mail program, Nevada ranked in the bottom half of states for turnout in 2022. In fact, just 54% of registered voters actually voted last year.
If you’re now thinking, “ Why on earth would we even consider making it harder to vote? ” Let me just say, I’m with you.
Republicans should celebrate participation in our democracy, not attack it to hoard political power for themselves.
As public servants, it’s our job to keep our elections as secure and accessible for voters as possible. These voter suppression tactics do the opposite of that, and now it’s up to us to fight back.
I need 8,000 supporters to stand up for democracy and sign our petition before midnight. Will you please add your name and show support for vote-by-mail in Nevada?
