Hey John, it’s
Tara — Founder and Publisher of Courier Newsroom.
In a moment, I’ll share how you can help us fight back against our
country’s growing information crisis — and explain why this work is more
important than ever.
But if you’re short on time, here’s what you need to know:
At Courier Newsroom, we’re fighting bad information by providing local
news to the communities that need it most. Our dedicated reporters are
covering everything from extremist groups like Moms for Liberty to
upcoming local and state elections.
This kind of news is essential, so we don’t hide it behind paywalls or
subscription fees.
[ [link removed] ]Instead, we rely on the generous support of grassroots donors like you,
which leads me to an important question: will you chip in
$5 to help us reach our $15,000 July goal so we can keep
our news stories free and accessible?

Over the past few months alone, our news teams have had their hands full.
Here’s a quick look at what they’ve been working on:
* In Pennsylvania, our team at The Keystone set their sights on Moms for
Liberty, exposing their misinformation-fueled agenda and underscoring
how they’re impacting our communities.
* In Virginia, our reporters at Dogwood ensured readers knew exactly
what was at stake in their recent state primary election and how they
could cast their ballot.
* In Iowa, our team at Iowa Starting Line has been diligently following
the Governor’s tireless efforts to pass an extreme abortion ban.
As we get deeper into the 2024 election cycle, you can bet that our
reporters will have even more leads to chase, bad actors to hold
accountable, and bad information to debunk.
To ensure they have the resources they need, we have to reach our $15,000
fundraising goal before July ends. So I’m asking one more time:

back against disinformation?
