My name is Sandra Wilson, and my son Shawn is running to be the next Governor of Louisiana.

As a longtime Algiers resident, I know Louisiana has its fair share of challenges. And as Shawn’s mother, I know my son is the right man for the job.

That’s because I raised him with the values that any mother would want their son to have: integrity, determination, and a willingness to help others. I saw those traits shine as he spent his career fighting for Louisianans, moving from one role to the next on his path to becoming Secretary of Transportation and Development.
