We have a slight problem.
Yesterday, I was reviewing our movement’s fundraising results with my team, when I came across this number: $14.33.
$14.33 is our current average donation on ActBlue, down from $20.21 last month.
Our average contribution has dropped considerably. And while it may not seem like a lot, it explains why we’re not on track to hit our goal right now. That would be a critical setback for the rest of the quarter.
So with 2 days left in the month, we have 2 ways to get back on track:
1. A large influx of donations from this team to make up lost ground
OR
2. This team gives slightly more than they normally would to help close the gap.
Normally when we ask people to make their first online donation to our PAC, we ask for $3. But today we're going to ask you for $10. Because the truth is that we rely on the response to emails like this one to help fund our movement.
