Last week, President Trump released his proposed budget for our public lands. In it, he has proposed cutting the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) by 97%. That’s right, 97%.

This cannot stand.

Since its inception, the bipartisan Land and Water Conservation Fund has provided funds to expand and protect our nation’s treasures: our public lands. And it has done so without costing taxpayers a dime.

And now Trump wants to destroy it.

But there’s some good news. Congress can step up and pass legislation to provide permanent full funding of this vital program. Sign our petition today: Let’s get permanent and full funding for LWCF.
