Karma Is Working Overtime

Conservatives tried to hold library books hostage. The plan blew up in their faces

The bungling pair thought their scheme would work, but it had the opposite effect. And this isn't the only time recently that protests have fizzled out.

The despicable Moms for Liberty group tried to rile a community to oppose a youth support group. It backfired completely when, instead, 200 lovely people showed up versus only a dozen desperate protestors.

Earlier this year in Scotland, hundreds of people showed up to sing & dance to YMCA to drown out an anti-trans rally. In England, hundreds poured out in support of trans people last month, while only two protestors turned up before quickly slinking away.

Going Viral

Pizza delivery superhero

Everyone has fallen in love with an Uber Eats driver who is out to “feed the gays”

With over 2,000 deliveries, he has maintained a 100% satisfaction rate. The gays are eating well, apparently.

Several queer people have gone viral lately. There was the TikToker who sang about trans skeletons, comedian Rickey Thompson's warning that "If I'm nice, be nice right the f*ck back!" and a gay love song so popular people thought Ed Shereen wrote it.

And who can forget that indie band’s rocking takedown of Ron DeSantis?

Puff the Magic Dragon vs Poof the Magic Drag Queen

"Poof the Magic Drag Queen" is taking over the internet

Move over, Puff the Magic Dragon. Poof lives proud and free (and doesn't have a depressing ending).

Musicians have been stepping up to defend the queer community lately. Hozier took a righteous stand for "human decency" this week while members of the band 1975 kissed on stage in Malaysia to protest the country's anti-LGBTQ+ laws.

Last month, country singer Garth Brooks said transphobic “as**oles” aren’t welcome at his new bar in Nashville.

Other Good Stuff

Have a good weekend. And don't forget, as our friend Anna says, there are only two rules in life: Don't be a sh**ty person and try to have some fun.
