In the three years since she was sworn in as Donald Trump's Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos has had an abysmal record.

Here are some of the lowlights:

Gutting public education funding in official budgets, which disproportionally hurts low-income families.

Trying to funnel taxpayer money to unaccountable private schools that do not serve the public and can discriminate by excluding potential students.

Weakening Title IX sexual assault and harassment protections, putting students in danger.

Repealing protections against predatory, for-profit colleges, leaving students in debt for being scammed.

Failing to protect the civil rights of LGBTQ students.

Trying to strip bargaining rights from the Department of Education employees.

We can go on, and on, and on.

A highly partisan U.S. Senate narrowly confirmed Betsy DeVos even though she is unfit to serve as Education Secretary.

Americans far and wide agree: It's time for Betsy DeVos to go.

The best way to get it done is by winning in 2020, so let's get to work.

Suzanne
