Supporting America's Veterans
This week the House passed the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Act! This legislation fully funds veterans' health care, the PACT Act, and other crucial VA programs.
As a member of the Appropriations Committee, I will ALWAYS work to ensure America's heroes get the care they deserve.
After President Biden falsely accused Republicans of cutting veterans' benefits, every single House Democrat voted against a $16 billion funding increase for the VA, veterans' healthcare, and the PACT Act.
Democrats put their extreme agenda over America's heroes.

Combatting the Fentanyl Epidemic
Two milligrams of fentanyl, a lethal dose for most people, is cheaper than a can of pop and is killing more young Americans than car crashes, suicides, and COVID-19 combined. Major drug trafficking routes along the I-35 and I-70 corridors make my home state of Kansas ground zero for the fentanyl crisis.
Over 1,200 Kansans have already died from fentanyl poisoning, and when I talk to local law enforcement, it’s clear that this crisis is only getting worse by the day. In addition to securing the southern border, I believe proper education and awareness in our schools, homes, and communities can be the difference between life and death.

We heard from two credible, non-partisan IRS investigators who sounded the alarm on the same corruption the Oversight Committee has been investigating for months.
It’s abundantly clear that there's one set of rules if your last name is Biden and another for everyone else.

Americans expect the Department of Justice to call balls and strikes—not carry the company line for the Bidens.
It's clear that the DOJ has thrown out equal justice under the law in order to protect their political allies and target their political opponents.

Enjoyed meeting with Kansas FFA leadership in Washington to discuss the most pressing issues facing farmers, ranchers, and producers across our state.
These Kansans are the next generation of agriculture leaders in America and I'm proud to represent them in Congress!
Got to talk about biofuels and the upcoming Farm Bill with Kansas Corn!
Always great to catch up and discuss issues impacting farmers and producers across our state. Thanks for stopping by.

Great chatting with Miss Kansas 2023, Courtney Wages, about her efforts to help Americans who experience blindness or visual impairment.
Thank you for doing such a great job representing the Sunflower State!
