Hi team — Lexie here, reporting to you live from Tammy Baldwin’s campaign office in Wisconsin!

A few days ago, we set an ambitious goal: 10,000 grassroots donors by the end of July. But truthfully, the response to this goal has been… a little slower than we expected.

You see, fundraising during the summer months isn’t easy. Folks are logging off, taking vacations, and spending time with their families and friends. As they should!

The problem is, when our grassroots fundraising struggles, it puts our campaign in a bit of a pinch. Tammy doesn’t have a rolodex of right-wing mega-millionaire donors to call up like National Republicans do. She also can’t cut herself multi-million dollar campaign checks the way some of her potential opponents can!

Instead, our team relies on our incredible grassroots supporters (like you!) who give what they can, when they can, because they believe in Tammy and what she’s fighting for.
