No one should have to fear gun violence while at work, in school, or in prayer, but mass shootings have disturbingly become a normal part of daily life in the United States.
In light of our country’s gun violence epidemic, states like California have passed laws to ban firearms in certain public places in order to save lives and protect communities. Unfortunately, courts are blocking some of these laws, protecting the gun industry more than our children.
Today, AG Rob Bonta once again took leadership on this issue by joining 18 other attorneys general to file a brief in support of New Jersey’s law to restrict guns in sensitive places , like libraries, schools, airports, and places of worship.
No court or judge should be able to stop a state from doing what it can to protect its residents and save lives from gun violence. If you agree, add your name to our petition today → [[link removed]]

Our children deserve to grow up in a world better – safer – than this. That’s why Rob is committed to doing everything in his power to protect California families, and all families, from the deadly epidemic of gun violence.
Thanks for showing your support,
Team Bonta
