Hey John! Ashley checking in here.
As you know, Speaker Kevin McCarthy tried to cut VA benefits by 22% earlier this year claiming America didn’t have enough money to care for our veterans.
But now, he is threatening to spend who-knows-how-much opening an impeachment inquiry into President Biden over the alleged actions of his son Hunter – without any proof.
This is what happens when our elected leaders have no skin in the game. Growing up in a single-parent household for much of my childhood, my family was fighting every single day to get food on the table and ensure the lights wouldn't go out at any given moment. But we paid our taxes, and now McCarthy wants to waste them on a political stunt.
Here in PA-01 we do have skin in the game. Our neighbors have real problems – access to healthcare, the increasing cost of groceries and housing – that this impeachment hearing does nothing to help. But GOP politicians like Rep. Fitzpatrick would rather focus on bogus investigations and abortion bans to distract from their failed leadership — it’s shameless.
I’m running for Congress to replace my Republican opponent’s cowardice with courage, and I’m counting on you to get there. Will you donate $5 or more to my campaign before our critical end-of-month deadline?

Pennsylvanians deserve better than this. Together, we can deliver meaningful progress for working families across MontCo and Bucks County on the issues that actually matter, including healthcare, education, good-paying jobs, gun safety, reproductive rights, and so much more.
Thanks for hearing me out. Let’s flip PA-01 blue.
