News from our fight for elephant rights in Connecticut

Dear John,

With the help of U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), we have finally received confirmation of how our elephant clients Beulah and Karen died.

At the same time, a trial court error has opened up legal possibilities in our elephant rights case on behalf of Minnie, the sole surviving Commerford Zoo elephant.

We’ll have further updates soon. Thank you once again for joining us in saying loudly and clearly that the way our legal systems treat elephants and other nonhuman animals must change—for their sake and ours.
