Everything I do harkens back to my oath to defend this country. From ensuring our kids have clean air and water to building an economy that works for everyone (and not the few) -- I swore to protect our values and rights both as an Army Ranger and as a Congressman.

But right now, all of this is at risk and the attacks on our values will soon be right at our doorstep, friend.

Tomorrow, President Donald Trump will be touching down in Colorado, and our campaign has an idea of what's to come. He's already attacked me for fulfilling my oath to protect our democracy and putting the truth above partisan politics -- and I have no doubt he'll set his sights on our campaign once he arrives. Our country should not be one where only those with the most money and influence have a shot at the American dream. I am loyal to the great people of CO-6, Colorado, this nation, and the Constitution -- no one else. But Trump is laser-focused on unseating anyone he thinks is "disloyal" to his administration. That's why this district is a high-priority target for national Republicans and outside dark money groups.

The coordinated attacks against this campaign and our movement for working families will shift into high gear tomorrow with Trump's arrival. That means more lies, misinformation campaigns, and dark money will pour into Colorado to try and mislead anyone and everyone in the 6th district.
