John,
Night to Unite & National Night Out is this coming Tuesday, August 1 , and it’s one of the best opportunities we have all year to talk with friends and neighbors about issues that matter to us – and a perfect time to start a conversation with your neighbors about Ranked Choice Voting, how it works, why it matters to you, and the goal to bring this important reform statewide in Minnesota.
You can find out information about NNO in your city here [[link removed]] (scroll down for information and links for each community). Not sure where your nearest NNO block party is being held? No worries – just sign up, and we’ll help you find it.

Night to Unite & National Night Out in the 5 Cities with RCV elections this year
If you are in one of the five cities using Ranked Choice Voting, remind your neighbors that they will be voting using RCV for local elections this fall. Hand them the lit piece for your city and explain RCV and what elections they have. For more information about RCV elections in the five Minnesota cities, see rankyourvote.org [[link removed]] . Download the linked city lit pieces or show on your phone:
Minneapolis [[link removed]]
St. Paul [[link removed]]

Bloomington [[link removed]]
Minnetonka [[link removed]] .
If you don’t have a block party, sign up to volunteer to attend another one to educate voters. We will have volunteers in targeted neighborhoods where there are competitive elections and in Minnetonka where RCV is under attack and a repeal measure will be on the ballot this fall.
Let’s keep growing the movement for RCV one person, one neighborhood at a time! Ask your neighbors if they have heard about RCV. Let them know that you would like to see RCV used in our state and federal elections and allow every city the opportunity to adopt it if they wish.
Print and bring these RCV flyers [[link removed]] to help share the power of this reform, or share them on your phone. And ask supporters to sign up for updates or volunteer on our website at FairVoteMN.Org [[link removed]] .
RCV talking points and background information can be found on our website:

Sincerely,
Your FairVote Minnesota team
