- Limiting Mercury Pollution: Thanks to the support of members like you, EDF fought to protect the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards under the previous administration and is working to ensure that the EPA’s proposed updates remain as strong as possible to protect our health.
- Cutting Cross-State Smog: The EPA finalized its Good Neighbor Plan to cut industrial pollution that travels across state lines and contributes to smog. Your support enables EDF to continue to advocate for these protections that will prevent premature deaths, asthma attacks, emergency room visits and more.
- Creating Good Paying Green Jobs: A new report from EDF and WSP consultants found that the electric vehicle boom has led to the announcement of more than 143,000 new U.S. jobs in the last eight years, with more than 40 percent of those announcements happening since passage of the Inflation Reduction Act.
- Launching Air Tracker: By pinpointing local pollution down to the neighborhood block, we’re giving policymakers, community groups and the private sector the tools they need to reduce pollution and hold polluters accountable. We couldn’t do it without dedicated, generous people like you!
