There’s been a phenomenally positive response to Sian Berry’s selection as the candidate to replace Caroline Lucas.

To win means running a professional campaign on the ground. I know what to do. We’ve done it before. But the absolutely critical first step is to recruit an experienced campaign manager to direct our campaign.

Only with a campaign manager can we run the size of the campaign needed to win. And with time short, we need to go out to recruitment urgently – no later than the middle of August.

Supporters have donated £37,000 so far towards the total of £68,000 we need.
