Hey guys, I’m Angela’s daughter, Alex! I’m so excited to talk to you today
about why my mom is going to make an amazing Senator.
If I could describe my mom in a few words, they would be “energetic,”
“hardworking,” “caring,” and “courageous.” She wakes up every morning at 5
AM, works out (to Beyoncé of course), makes me breakfast, and when I was
in school, she’d drop me off every morning, no matter how busy her day
was.
She’s a great listener and loves to talk to everyone. That’s why we always
end up spending an extra 30 minutes at the grocery store just chatting
with people!
My mom can handle anything AND do it with understanding and ease. Whether
it’s leading Prince George’s County through a pandemic, helping me with
college applications, or running for office, she never backs down from a
challenge.
I’m so proud of my mom and I love to support her whenever I can, from
helping her practice her speeches to being her cheerleader at events to
making phone calls. But everything her campaign does depends on grassroots
donations, and we can’t win without your support.
