URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Stop cruise corporations from DUMPING waste in fragile
Arctic habitats!
Picture this: polar bear cubs stumbling across the ice, mother close behind.
They’re searching for food – but with no luck. Their hunting grounds are MELTING , and the ocean’s tasty fish have been SCARED AWAY by cruise ships’ pollution and noise. If things don’t change soon, this mama bear and her cubs could starve!
Only 900 Southern Beaufort polar bears remain – and with the Arctic warming TWICE AS FAST as the rest of the world, these
threatened creatures could be on the path to extinction!
Cruise ships won’t hold themselves accountable, but you can help push the EPA to
STOP cruise pollution and protect the Arctic, its people, and wildlife! SAVE THE ARCTIC: send your message to the EPA and fight corporate cruise
companies!

[[link removed]]Arctic Indigenous communities rely on the ocean’s resources to support
themselves. But cruise ships pollute the ocean and drive away animals that are essential to these communities’ way of life.
One of the worst offenders – Carnival Corporation – carried 11,000 tons of hazardous heavy fuel oil in a single year through Arctic waters — nearly three times as much as its
largest competitor.
Cruise ships in the Arctic are a disaster waiting to happen. The EPA could act
RIGHT NOW to protect this critical habitat – but it’s failed to act. Please, Friend, will you help us reach our goal of 2,839
more signatures before MIDNIGHT? Sign and PROTECT the Arctic before it’s too
late!
