The end of July is approaching fast — and with it, our end of month fundraising deadline to raise an additional $8,755 through our grassroots email fundraising efforts.
Jamaal is spearheading the way for people-powered campaigns like ours in Congress, and we’re excited to continue supporting his bold policy and legislative work for our progressive values. But in order to keep fighting at the same power and level of dedication that we have now, we need your help in ramping up our resources.
When this campaign first began in 2019, we would never have envisioned the movement we’ve grown into today. This campaign is composed of thousands of activists and supporters who truly have faith in our progressive vision, and are determined to support leaders like Jamaal in Congress.
For too long, we have let disingenuous and removed elected officials run our policy into the ground — and enough is enough. Jamaal isn’t afraid to shake the status quo and hold elected officials accountable for their actions (or inactions). Especially when federal support can mean the difference between a family putting food on the table and paying an unreasonably expensive utility bill.
The work we do today can set our movement up for success in the future, John. We just need to continue working together and fighting for the future we not only need, but deserve.
