Campaign Updates
Hang Up On Fossil Fuels Update

Thanks to you taking action with our Hang Up on Fossil Fuels campaign, Verizon will soon surpass 3 GW of renewable energy capacity, adding another 410 MW. The company has stated that they are on track to achieve their 50% renewables goal by 2025. Let's push them to aim for 100% renewable energy and prioritize environmental justice.

Thank you, Carla Itzkowich, for your generous support of this campaign.

Skip The Slip

Our Skip the Slip campaign has inspired a proposed Skip the Slip law in California that is making its way through the legislature. The bill has passed the Assembly, the Senate Judiciary and Environmental Quality Committees, and next it heads to the Appropriations Committee. We’re working with allies in California to make sure it gets to the Senate floor and then becomes law.

Freedom To Invest

Protect Your Freedom To Invest Responsibly

Politicians are trying to restrict our ability to invest responsibly through multiple hearings and proposed legislation. Reps. Sean Casten and Juan Vargas launched the Sustainable Investment Caucus to promote responsible investing and counter misinformation. Urge your rep to join the caucus and protect your freedom to invest responsibly!

Kroger HFCs

Tell Kroger to Ditch Climate Polluting HFCs

Kroger is a major emitter of HFC refrigerants, a very potent greenhouse gas. Their Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Road Map falls short, projecting increasing HFC emissions till 2025. Demand Kroger eliminate HFCs from all facilities and stores by 2030.
