Since Mitch McConnell's Republican Senate majority voted to cover up for Donald Trump's lawlessness instead of doing their constitutional duty to hold him accountable, Trump's most authoritarian and corrupt instincts have been completely unleashed.
GOP Senator Susan Collins said she thought Trump would learn his "lesson" after being impeached. But any reasonable observer knew that wouldn't happen. Instead Trump has indulged in vicious and divisive rants against his political opponents, removed dedicated career public servants who courageously spoke out as witnesses in his impeachment investigation, and now he's more aggressively than ever trying to turn the Department of Justice into his own political weapon and abusing his pardon power to make the statement that corrupt swindlers (like him) should not face appropriate legal consequences.
We MUST stop Trump and his Republican enablers in Congress, and to do that we need to know you're with us in this most important election year of our lives.
We're still a long ways off from our Presidents' Week member drive goal -- we have just over 500 new or renewed members to go -- and tonight's deadline is coming up fast.

The Trump presidency has been a stain on the office ... he has trampled on the Constitution in order to advance his own, self-serving extremist agenda ... he’s demonstrated countless times he’s willing to lie, cheat, and break the law in order to get reelected ... and his Republican allies have already proven their willingness to let him.
It's time to hold Trump Republicans ACCOUNTABLE and make sure that this Presidents' Week is the last one we ever have with Trump in office.
Renewing your PFAW membership for 2020 is the most important way for you to let us know you're with us in the fight!
We need another 719 members across the country to step up and join or renew for 2020 in the next 24 hours!

Your 2020 membership renewal will boost our efforts to unseat Trump by helping us get boots on the ground in key battleground states, mobilize the voters and volunteers who are key to Democratic victory, and employ the latest in digital tools and targeted media delivery to get out the progressive vote.
Without your support this year, we will have to scale back operations in our key target states, which could spell disaster to our chances of flipping the Senate and ending Trump’s presidency this fall.
We know you that don’t want to wake up on November 4 regretting that you didn't do everything you could to defeat Trump and his Republican enablers.
