Dear John,

From July 31, 2023, to August 6, 2023, Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights (UAF) will be taking an organization-wide pause. During this time, all UAF staff members will be stepping away from our work, which includes the daily processing of incoming Rapid Response Grants (RRGs), emails, and meetings. We are collectively and intentionally taking this time to rest and recharge, and on August 7, 2023, we will be back online to resume our everyday operations.

This pause is our way of actively honoring our commitment to UAF’s feminist values of centering well-being and care. We hope that this time to momentarily disconnect will continue to deepen our recognition of limits and the importance of care, thus strengthening ourselves to better support feminist activists and movements across our regions.

Please note: during this pause, our online grant applications will remain open, but we will not review or process any requests until August 7, 2023.

We look forward to connecting with you with renewed energy when we return.
