Hi, I’m Juan, Martin’s Deputy Campaign Manager, reaching out ahead of our first end-of-month deadline of the quarter. It’s my job to travel around New Mexico and connect with folks around our shared values, from grassroots supporters to grasstops leaders who are close to the issues and causes that matter most. That means everything from participating in local parades to talking to Democratic county parties. Then, I take what I learn and use our campaign resources to help elevate and support strong Democrats at all levels of government and share Martin’s record with voters and supporters. You have an important role to play here, too. Every single dollar we raise from our grassroots fundraising program goes toward initiatives like the ones I mentioned, voter outreach, and more. My work for Martin’s Senate re-election campaign is rooted in a strong history in our state. I am a 13th-generation New Mexican, and my family has been in the Middle Rio Grande Valley — where I still live today — since the 1700s. Knowing that my ancestors lived on, worked, and survived on the same land I’m living on today is so meaningful. Many families in New Mexico have the same ties to the land and community as I do. It’s important to have a campaign tied to our communities, our traditions, and our lands in New Mexico, and I’m proud that ours has been from day one.
