BREAKING NEWS, John:
The House of Representatives has PASSED resolutions that are directly attacking protections offered by the Endangered Species Act.
These Republican-led resolutions are waging extreme attacks on American wildlife. On the chopping block this week were the endangered northern long-eared bat and threatened lesser prairie-chicken. These species provide critical ecosystem and pollination services in their regions and are at significant risk without ESA protections. Once again, Republicans are choosing to ignore science on behalf of their polluter friends.

The passage of these resolutions will be devastating for the government’s abilities to protect these species. The fact that they were even introduced at all is proof that congressional Republicans care more about delivering for their corporate polluter donors than delivering for the environment and for their constituents.
President Biden has pledged to veto these resolutions should they reach his desk, thankfully. However, Congress can still override that veto if they have enough votes — and it’s up to our SEEC Members to block McCarthy’s override. Show SEEC Members that you support their opposition to these dangerous policies by rushing $25 today! [[link removed]]
PROTECT WILDLIFE » [[link removed]]It may be starting with small animals like the bats and the birds, but Republicans have their sights set on stripping protections from gray wolves and American bison next, and we need a pro-environment majority in Congress to be able to stop and reverse these policies. We need your help today to elect more SEEC Members to Congress for the green majority our wildlife so desperately needs. [[link removed]]
