On Tuesday, May 12th, the NH Coalition to End Homelessness will host a full day training on increasing awareness of professional boundaries in the workplace.

Participants will be provided with the opportunity to examine their use of reflective practice skills to maximize desired outcomes in their work with clients. In addition, best practices to assure healthy boundaries and to prevent boundary crossings and boundary violations will be presented. Professionals working in a range of fields are encouraged to attend including social work, healthcare, education, and addiction services.

Cost: $99 per person. Lunch is not included, but time will be given to get lunch on your own.

CEUs: This program has been approved for 6 Category A Continuing Education hours in Ethics. NASW NH Authorization Number 3671 and pre-approved by the NH Board of Licensing for Alcohol & Other Drug Use Professionals for 6 contact hours. CCAR Class #800. LADC Categories of Competence: 3, 6, 7 & 11.

Trainer: Scott Meyer, MSW, Ph.D. is a professor of social work at Plymouth State University. Dr. Meyer previously served on the faculty at the Boston University School of Medicine as a clinical instructor of psychiatry and has also taught at Curry College in Massachusetts and at Roger Williams College in Rhode Island.
