Winning Is Persuading. This Is How You Actually Win In Politics:
What should be the goal of political activism? Winning, I hope. So what does it mean to actually win? If you want to win, you have to persuade. That means making arguments based in sound logic and facts, striking the right tone, and acting strategically. Dying on the hill might look cool, but if you actually want to change somebody’s mind, you have to do more than that. This is how we win elections, win on policy, and win the culture war. The conservative movement is the protector of our liberties and the founding principles that made this country so exceptional. That is a responsibility we should not take lightly. #YAFCon
My Message To The Mexican Government: Let Us Help You Defeat The Cartels
The Mexican drug cartels are actively at war with the Mexican military and the United States. They have operational control over our southern border, take advantage of the immigration crisis, and kill thousands of people a year with fentanyl. The cartels are a serious threat that hasn’t been taken seriously. That’s why this week we held our first meetings for the Task Force to Combat the Mexican Drug Cartels — a bipartisan task force where we will craft real, effective legislation to target the cartels. We are ready to work with Mexico on this. We have a common enemy here, and we have the resources to defeat them. Let’s work together to prevent the deaths of both of our citizens.
"It's Not Offensive. It's A Fact." This Is Why 'Gender-Affirming Care' Is A Social Contagion
The idea of “gender-affirming care” is an entirely new phenomenon from a bunch of radical ideologues. And the numbers show exactly what it really is — a social contagion. What do I mean by that? Kids are increasingly influenced by their peers to identify as a different gender. The data doesn’t lie. Prescriptions for puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones more than doubled between 2017 and 2021. That’s not the only thing that’s shocking. Just since 2007 the number of pediatric gender clinics in the United States has risen from 1 to well over 70. That’s a huge problem. If the peer pressure around our kids wasn’t enough, it’s easier than ever to access these life-changing procedures. The research doesn’t lie — so if calling this transgender movement a “social contagion” offends you, take a look at the multiple systematic reviews showing that there is low evidence for clinical benefit, not to mention extreme risks posed by gender-altering procedures for minors.
