Public Invited to First Gentleman’s BBQ at Terrace Hill 

 
DES MOINES – First Gentleman Kevin Reynolds invites families to attend this year’s BBQ at Terrace Hill, a celebration of summer at the Iowa Governor’s Residence and National Historic Landmark. The event will be on Thursday, August 3^rd from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. 

Guests will enjoy:  

• Meet and chat with First Gentleman Kevin Reynolds 
• Explore first and second floors of the Residence 
• Wander the gardens 
• Enjoy delicious food prepared by the Terrace Hill Chef 
•  

The menu will consist of a traditional summer spread of hamburgers, brats, gourmet side dishes, and desserts.  

 

Reservations are $40 per guest + processing fees. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Terrace Hill Partnership, the sole non-profit organization that supports necessary conservation and restoration projects for the Terrace Hill building and grounds.
