[link removed] [[link removed]]Friend – My Dad taught me some of the most powerful lessons of running a campaign. Growing up, I watched my Dad finish his degree in social work to rise to the President of Wilmington’s City Council.

His example showed me that with hard work and respect for others, I could overcome any obstacle and accomplish anything. So I took Dad’s lessons to heart and dedicated my life to serving my community and my state.

Campaigning was always a family affair – we’d knock on doors, make phone calls, and host events in our community. Our efforts paid off because our ward consistently had the highest voter turnout. That’s why I knew I needed my Dad by my side to win my first race to Congress in 2016. Here we are pictured above pounding the pavement – and hey, that worked too, because I won pretty big in 2016!
