I’m so proud of this small but mighty campaign we’ve built together. I’ve outraised 13 of my opponents when it comes to small-dollar donations, including one former actor who self-funded his campaign with $877,000, and a career politician who has held public office for decades.

Our average donation is $25.50—a number that puts us in league with grassroots figures like Bernie Sanders, Katie Porter, and AOC. And like those community-oriented politicians, I will never sell my constituents out to Wall Street and large corporations.

Running for Congress is tough, especially as a member of a small and marginalized community.
