☀️ Derek welcomed Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg to the Evergreen State to celebrate a game-changing federal grant that will replace a 48-year-old public breakwater along the Port Orchard waterfront.

☀️ He helped secure crucial funding for the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe to replace the Big Quilcene River bridge on Linger Longer Road.

☀️ The House included Derek's legislation, the Servicemembers Mental Health Improvement Act, in the National Defense Authorization Act — a milestone in the effort to help servicemembers receive the support they need.

And this was only in July, team! Derek is proud to fight for our region every single day. But as we head into the second half of 2023, we need to start preparing for the upcoming election — and that's where you come in.
