The Senate voted to restore much of the funding that was under threat for vital global health and humanitarian assistance programs around the world. While not ideal, the bill from the Senate continues steady funding for maternal and child health, humanitarian assistance and other critical programs. It also established a new line of funding for health workers. Thank you for letting your Senators know that these lifesaving programs are important to you.

However, the push is not yet over. A final Fiscal Year 2024 funding bill must still be negotiated between the Senate and the House of Representatives and signed by the President. Please know that Project HOPE will be engaging key decision-makers to ensure health and humanitarian support reaches those people and communities in the greatest need of care.
