<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>According to figures from the World Health Organization (WHO), between 40 and 56 million abortions are performed every year.</strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>153,425 per day.</strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>6,393 per hour.</strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>Since you started reading this email, nearly 107 abortions have taken place.</strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>107 per minute.</strong></p> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="background-color: #ffff00;"><strong>107 human beings like you and me, only smaller.</strong></span></p> <p><strong>They are not statistics.</strong></p> <p>They are people... people who would have been called David, Emma, Olivia, Noah, William, Daniel, Sophia, Sam, Elizabeth, James...</p> <p><strong>Abortion is the cruel and violent death of a human being.</strong> We cannot forget that. We cannot simply get used to it and do nothing in the face of the suffering of others.</p> <p>We must act. Because these babies—Michael, Chloe, Joseph....—die before they are even born. They need someone to defend them. They need us to do something.</p> <p><strong>We have to be the voice for those who don't have one!</strong></p> <p>That's why I need your help.</p> <p>In the coming days and weeks, CitizenGO will be actively participating in marches, demonstrations, and rallies in order to defend life. CitizenGOers are organizing in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Italy, Slovakia... and across the world, wherever it is necessary—if we can find enough resources to act.</p> <p>Next month, from March 9th to the 20th, we will be attending the United Nations Conference on the Status of Women (CSW64) in New York, where we know the pro-abortion lobby will try (again) to use the UN to impose abortion worldwide. We are in close contact with the diplomats of many countries so that the enemies of life fail. We are also planning some kind of impactful action close to the UN Headquarters. </p> <p>Here in the United States, we are campaigning to support the unborn. President Donald J. Trump is challenging Congress to end late-term abortion. So are we! We feel that we are so close and we need to keep the pressure on!</p> <p>We are also providing support to our Canadian counterparts, we will assemble for their March for Life in Ottawa.
