Did you hear the news, John?
It was recently announced that PA Democratic State Representative Sara Innamorato has resigned ahead of her run for Allegheny County Executive in November, bringing the State House back to a 101-101 tie.
There will be a special election on Tuesday, September 19, to fill this seat, meaning this election will determine the control of the Pennsylvania House. The stakes are high.
Earlier this year, our team worked tirelessly on two special elections to ensure Democrats maintained control of the PA House and the Speaker’s gavel. Our efforts were successful as we witnessed the swearing-in of PA’s first Black woman Speaker of the House, and NPP board member, Joanna McClinton. We have the necessary experience to do it again this September, but we need your help.
We have an end-of-month fundraising deadline just around the corner, and with this announcement, we cannot afford to miss our goal. We are currently $2,740 short. Will you help us close that gap so we can educate, mobilize, and turn out voters on September 19 by rushing a $25 donation now →
