As we enter into the eighth month of 2023, we look back to reflect the year as well as looking forward with excitement for what can and will be done with the rest of the year.?

Digital English Academy?for Adults
The Fall D.E.A.A class celebrated 12-weeks of hard work this May.
We are committed to engaging the immigrant population in as many ways as possible. Our Digital English Academy for Adults touches on not only English Language Development, but also Digital Literacy as well as Workplace Readiness. We can't wait to see how our students take their knowledge into their daily lives!?

City of Phoenix's R.I.S.E Program Interns join us for a third Summer!
As part of our movement, PAZ connects and help train young leaders to create positive change in Arizona.
During the month of July, young leaders from the City of Phoenix's R.I.S.E Summer Program joined our team to? identify families who qualify for the FCC's?Affordable Connectivity Program <[link removed]>, as well as find the best Internet provider for our community.?

UnidosUS 2023 Annual Conference: The Power of Us
This last week, members of the PAZ team visited Chicago, IL for the UnidosUS 2023 Annual Conference: The Power of Us
Here organizations from all over the country joined together to celebrate the work that has been done, but also to plan for the work that continues the efforts to?ensure that our immigrant and Latinx community member's voices are at the round table.

You may be eligible for free or discounted Internet service with the FCC's Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).
The?Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) <[link removed]>?is an FCC benefit program that Congress created to help ensure that households can afford the Internet they need for work, school, health care, and more.
To date, ACP has helped connect more than 18 million households to the internet across all ages and across all 50 states!
Promise Arizona is excited to take part in outreach for ACP as it empowers our families and creates a pathway to a broadband connection which can unlock the limitless opportunities that the internet provides, including:
- Applying for jobs online or accessing online education.
- Gaining digital skills to move up in the workforce, or help gain an understanding of the USCIS Portal for simpler Immigration cases.
- Find community resources through Internet navigation.
- And more...
ACP has the power to be transformative for our community by giving people the opportunity to broadband services that will unleash limitless opportunities for low-income households state-wide!
