Happy Birthday SisterLove! At SisterLove, we are proud to be trailblazers in the fight for HIV and reproductive justice centered on Black women. You stood with us–and continue to stand with us–as we lead the charge for health equity, sexual and reproductive justice, and HIV care. Help us celebrate now! As we celebrate our 34th birthday, we look back with pride on the incredible accomplishments we've been able to accomplish together and the countless lives we've touched. Safety net hospitals have closed down. Geographically isolated people struggle to get the health care they need. However, with your support, we have taken to the road, bringing our new Healthy Love Bus to Black communities in health care ‘deserts’ for access to sexual and reproductive health care. Imagine having HIV and STI screening, testing, counseling, and linkage brought right to your neighborhood. That’s our Healthy Love Bus. And this is just the beginning! With your support, we will expand our work to include pregnancy testing and abortion counseling, contraceptive care and PrEP, the HIV prevention treatment that keeps sexually active people safe. We know that there is still so much work to be done. And that is why we ask for your generous support now. The fight for reproductive justice that centers Black women is ongoing, especially in Southern communities riddled by fake clinics (aka crisis pregnancy centers). Punitive laws deny people their right to make decisions about their own bodies. It is essential that we continue to lead the charge. By staying true to our mission and values, and with the continued support of our community, we know that we can make a real difference in the lives of Black women, girls and other vulnerable communities of the US South, nationally, and around the world. As we celebrate our 34th year of dedicated service, we look to the future with optimism and determination. Please give generously to SisterLove.
