In one Southeast Asian country, only one percent of people follow Jesus. Despite the challenges our local Unto® staff teams are committed to sharing the message of hope and developing multiplying disciples. Humanitarian aid allows them to access unreached people groups and share the eternal hope of Jesus when the time is right.


Recently they used the meals, water filters, and other critical aid you helped deliver to serve women and men who struggle to provide for their families. In one city they served more than 550 factory workers, street cleaners, housekeepers, and trash collectors.


The local team brought along new disciples who had recently responded to the message of Jesus. They used the outreach opportunity to teach new believers how to distribute aid and share hope with others in their community.


At one distribution the team met a young woman who knew about Jesus but did not know how to follow Him. The team explained eternal hope, and she and two others responded to the message. Local disciples continue to follow up with the women to help them grow in their faith.


At another gathering four disciples provided aid and shared about Jesus with more than 250 city street sweepers. Most had never heard the message before.


The local team leader shared, For some of our disciples, this is their first time to share about Jesus with others. Having this outreach and giving them basic supplies such as food and water filters to share has built credibility with local leaders and the people. It has opened up doors for us to serve even more.
Thank you for partnering with us to serve vulnerable communities in the toughest places who struggle to access the basic items they need to survive. Together we are relieving their suffering, restoring their dignity, and revealing the hope of Jesus.
