Hi John! It’s Summer, Ayanna, and Robert.
Words matter and, for too long, the U.S. legal code has used generic, masculine language like he/him/his to refer to ALL people, reinforcing gender stereotypes and systemic discrimination. Women and non-binary folks were literally written out of our country’s laws – until now.
We’re sending a clear message that we won’t be silenced by the right wing politicians, judges, and media goons waging a full-on assault on women and queer folks. We’re organized and mobilized to make Equality in our Laws and in our Constitution!
We just introduced the Equality in Our Laws Act to change the status quo by replacing masculine language with gender-neutral language throughout the U.S. code.
Our laws and legal code should reflect the rich diversity of our country. By introducing gender-neutral language, this legislation will better ensure equality and representation for all people under U.S. law.
We can’t make progress like this without support from folks like you. Split a contribution of $5 between the three of our campaigns today to help us continue to do this important, impactful work.

Together, we can create a more equal, just, and representative democracy that works for ALL of us.
Thanks for making this work possible,
