I Hosted a Webinar on Energy Funding and Consumer Tax Incentives Dear john,Today, I hosted a webinar to discuss energy funding and consumer tax incentives with the U.S. Department of Energy. Assistant Director of Technical Assistance and Partnerships Michael Forrester and Policy Analyst John Agan discussed a wide range of funding opportunities for South Texas residents.The webinar focused on funding opportunities made possible by last year’s Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which is the single largest investment in climate and energy in American history. The IRA includes tax provisions to save families money on energy bills and funding to improve electric services in rural areas.Last year, I voted for the IRA to make energy funding and consumer tax incentives more available for South Texans.
