Friend, did you know the first rally I ever organized was for Earth Day way back in 1970? That’s me with my back turned holding a bullhorn! A couple of my friends and I got together at Mansfield Senior High to rally against climate change and protect our communities. 

Now, all these years later, the effects of climate change are everywhere: extreme heat, wildfire smoke, and severe storms are just some of the consequences folks here in Ohio and across the country are facing. 

I’m fighting every day in the Senate to tackle this crisis, rein in big oil and gas, and create a better planet for all our kids and grandkids.

But I’ll be honest, I’m in for a tough reelection. The GOP has already launched attacks against me and Mitch McConnell has named me his TOP TARGET. That’s why I need to ask: Will you chip in $5 so we can win in Ohio, keep the Senate blue, and build a greener future?
