Right now, both chambers of Congress are hard at work as they attempt to push some of the year’s most consequential bills through the legislative process—the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and twelve appropriations bills to fund the federal government. These bills play a central role in determining how Americans’ taxpayer dollars are spent by the U.S. government and by the military—both for good and for bad. With the Biden administration in the White House, pro-family values are under attack in both the federal government and military training and operations.
Thankfully, House Republicans have put forth strong legislation that pushes back against the Biden administration’s attacks on the family, including by adopting the Jackson Amendment (sponsored by Rep. Ronny Jackson, TX) to the House NDAA. This amendment will ensure that the Secretary of Defense cannot pay for or reimburse expenses related to abortion. Send a message to your members of Congress now, asking them to protect life and family values in key legislation!
