- The latest is that the Florida GOP re-wrote the curriculum to teach that slavery was BENEFICIAL to the slaves.
- Which means that thanks to Ron DeSantis and the GOP now what Florida’s kids learn about one of the most shameful events in human history will literally be whitewashed.
- That is on top of the Florida State Legislature passing a bill that won’t allow teachers to talk about periods or any of the changes middle schoolers are going through.
Here is how we’re fighting back:
We’re going to take the authors of these disgusting bills to task and hold them accountable for putting extreme right-wing politics in between our kids and a successful future.
