John — we're still learning the details of the deadly, heartbreaking mass shooting at the Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texas. Families in Gilroy, California, Brownsville in Brooklyn, New York, and countless other communities are still grieving after recent tragic shootings. As a Texan and a gun violence survivor, my heart is with the families in El Paso and all of the communities grieving the 100 Americans shot and killed, and hundreds more wounded, every day.
Tonight, we must honor all those impacted by gun violence. Tonight, we must take action. Even though Congress is on break, Senators and their staff are back at work in their state offices. And we'll be there to demand action from our U.S. Senators. Find a local Moms Demand Action event now to help us demand action and end gun violence in America.
Grassroots action from people across America demanding stronger gun laws will help lead us to a future free from gun violence.
Together we care,
