I’m excited to announce that Federal Way City Council President, Former Federal Way Mayor and Former State Representative Linda Kochmar has endorsed my candidacy to serve Washingtonians in Congress! 

Linda has been acknowledged for her track record of listening to the people she represents with the Outstanding Legislator of the Year and Washington State Woman of Excellence, among others.

Linda shared the following statement:

"I am thrilled to endorse Carmen Goers for Congress in the 8th Congressional District. We need leaders in DC who will fight for our small businesses and for our military families. I know that Carmen will do both and will do them very well. As a commercial banker Carmen has discussed the challenges small businesses are facing. I know that she will work hard to cut taxes and to remove the regulations that are strangling the growth that is possible."

I am deeply honored to receive Linda’s endorsement. Linda embodies the type of leadership that overcomes the hurdles of politics that has hampered our ability to confront our problems with integrity and tenacity. 

The facts speak for themselves: crime, drug addiction and homelessness are escalating out of control at the same rate that gas prices and taxes are burdening families as they attempt to mitigate our economic circumstances while raising children.

I want to serve Washingtonians in putting the brakes on Big Government’s addiction to stifling innovation, ingenuity and grit by putting burdensome overregulation and taxation in check!
